Boulder Creek Stake Italian Indexing Project:

Hawes Ward Assignment

Our ward is part of a stake assignment to index 100 million Italian Records. 2 million records have been completed in this project so far.  The Boulder Creek Stake is one of five stakes assigned thus far.

We will only be indexing Post 1875 "NATI" Records (birth records)

* You do not need to know Italian to participate. 

Indexing Is Simple

You Can Help!  No special skills or fixed time commitments are required. Volunteer when you can. 

Just register (lds.org account), sign in, and follow a simple process:

1. Select a “batch” of records to download to your computer.
2. Enter the requested information (names, dates, events, etc.) in the corresponding spaces.
3. Submit your completed index to the online system.

Our ward will be participating in a friendly competition.  

   The winners will be rewarded handsomely. 

Competition Guidelines

• 3 Teams: Melchizedek Priesthood, Relief Society, The Combined Youth

• 20 Points for Selecting your first Italian batch

• 1 point for each indexed ITALIAN record

• Winner = Team with Most points by December 1st. 

• Enter your points each time you index Italian Names via the Indexing Tracker
